Fast Lane Biker Delmarva named Media Partner of 2016 Ride Across Maryland in Partnership with the Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults
COLUMBIA, MD – The Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults is proud to announce an official media partnership with monthly motorcycle publication, Fast Lane Biker Delmarva, of the 2016 Ride Across Maryland to take place on June 4 and 5, 2016 in Ocean City. Committed to supporting the local community, Fast Lane Biker Delmarva is looking forward to continuing a formal partnership with the Ride Across Maryland.
The Ride Across Maryland is an annual gathering that unites bikers from across the Mid- Atlantic to raise money and awareness for the Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults. The Ride Across Maryland weekend features a 150-mile ride, including an escort up to and over the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, and continues through the back roads of the Eastern Shore of Maryland with alternate route options, poker runs and more. Upon arrival in Ocean City, riders, friends and family will gather at the Francis Scott Key Resort for the evening’s festivities which celebrate the ride’s fundraising efforts, and honor and remember those who have fought or are fighting cancer. The addition of Fast Lane Biker Delmarva as a media partner will increase rider attendance and funds raised and grow awareness of the Ride Across Maryland and its mission.
“The Ride Across Maryland is an empowering ride that supports the young adult cancer fight and the 70,000 young adults diagnosed with cancer every year” said Walt Kuch, Chief Marketing Officer for Fast Lane Biker Magazine Delmarva. “We are proud to be an Official Media Sponsor and are looking forward to helping make this Event a huge success.
Receiving support from Fast Lane Biker Delmarva as an official media partner is exciting for our entire organization and will directly benefit not only the riders participating in the Ride Across Maryland this year, but on a greater scale, will benefit the cancer patients, survivors, and families The Ulman Cancer Fund serves,” said Dick Gelfman, Ride Across Maryland Founder.
All proceeds from the race benefit the Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults including a Ride Across Maryland annual scholarship. Ride Across Maryland is seeking individual riders, teams and sponsors as well as vendors for the event celebration in Ocean City.
